We stand behind our products. If something isn't right, we want to make it right. Read this policy to understand what is eligible for return and the process for initiating one.
Section 01
Policy Overview

Valinor Arms accepts returns on eligible non-regulated items within 30 days of delivery. Serialized, regulated components that have been transferred through an FFL are governed by separate rules due to the legal nature of those transfers.

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by our customer service team. Items returned without an RMA will not be accepted and will be returned to sender at the sender's expense.

Section 02
Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund if the request is received within 24 hours of order placement and the order has not yet shipped. To cancel, contact us immediately at valinorarms@gmail.com with your order number.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may initiate a return once the item is delivered, subject to the return eligibility rules below.

FFL Orders: Once a regulated component has shipped to your FFL dealer, it cannot be cancelled. Transfers already in progress at an FFL cannot be reversed by Valinor Arms.

Return Eligibility
✓ Eligible for Return
  • Non-regulated furniture (stocks, grips, handguards)
  • Non-serialized accessories and parts
  • Magazine components (unmodified)
  • Iron sights and optic mounts
  • Items in original, unused condition
  • Items with original packaging intact
  • Within 30 days of delivery
✗ Not Eligible for Return
  • Serialized lower receivers (post-FFL transfer)
  • Items that have been installed or modified
  • Items missing original packaging
  • Items showing signs of use or wear
  • Special order or custom items
  • Items returned without RMA number
  • Items returned after 30-day window

Returned items are subject to inspection. We reserve the right to refuse a return or assess a restocking fee of up to 15% if items are not in original, resalable condition.

Section 04
Non-Returnable Items — Regulated Components
Serialized lower receivers and other regulated components cannot be returned once transferred through a licensed FFL dealer. This is due to the legal and regulatory nature of such transfers, including ATF recordkeeping requirements. Once a Form 4473 has been completed and the NICS check passed, the transfer is final from a regulatory standpoint.

If a regulated component is defective upon receipt (prior to FFL transfer), contact us immediately before completing the transfer. We will work with you and your FFL dealer to resolve the issue.

Section 05
Defective Items

If you receive a product that is defective or was damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the defect or damage
  • Clear photographs of the issue and packaging

Defective items will be replaced or refunded at our discretion, including return shipping costs. We may request that the defective item be returned for inspection before issuing a replacement or refund.

Normal wear, cosmetic variations within manufacturing tolerance, and damage caused by improper installation or use are not covered under our defect policy.

Section 06
Return Process

To initiate a return:

  • Contact us at valinorarms@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return
  • We will issue an RMA number within 2 business days if your return is eligible
  • Package the item securely in its original packaging and write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box
  • Ship the return to the address provided in your RMA confirmation email
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method — we are not responsible for items lost in return transit

Refund Timeline

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the credit to your account — typically 3–5 business days after we issue the refund. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a product defect.

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges at this time. If you need a different item, please return the eligible original item for a refund and place a new order. This ensures your new order ships promptly without waiting for the return to be processed.
